One of the locations where the courses will take place definitely needs a makeover. We will PAINT THE WALLS, ADD SOME GRAFFITIS and DECORATE the classrooms WITH FRAMES, FLOWERS etc. so they are more welcoming and kids friendly! All the materials will be there. Your time, work and creativity is needed so we can have it ready just before the autumn semester starts.
400,000 children and young people in Austria are at risk of poverty and usually have only limited access to leisure activities. Vienna Hobby Lobby offers free leisure courses, from basketball and kickboxing to creative activities such as street art and acting. The project also has a strong inclusive character, as around 90% of the participants have a migration or refugee background.
